Who We Help

Who do we help?

Cases already supported

Launched in June 2006, the Children of Vietnam Fund, co-organised by FV Hospital and the Thanh Nien newspaper, has gathered together more than five hundred million Vietnam dollars for operations on thirty-six children with congenital deformities or those who were suffering from the effects of serious accidents. Vietnamese and French surgeons coming from prestigious hospitals around the world have given their time and expertise to the Children of Vietnam Fund. All thirty-six operations were successful and the children could return to normal life. Several of these children come from places such as the Peace Village of Tu Du Hospital or the Tam Binh Children's Shelter Centre. We have been able to locate many others all over Vietnam, mainly from very poor families, in very diverse areas such as Da Nang, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An and Tra Vinh. Recently, we have mainly focused on the Mekong Delta where there are many handicapped children awaiting surgery. For example, we have undertaken successful work in Ben Tre province where we have given medical consultations to more than three hundred children. More than forty of them are in great need of your help.

OUR HOPE!
Is that you will share in this extraordinary and wonderful mission.
